📄 Styling Box Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a STYLEDBY Styling Box, you agree to the following terms:

1. Turnaround Time

Once you submit your styling questionnaire and complete your order, you’ll receive your personalised style portfolio within 5 working days.

You’ll then have 48 hours to review it.

  • If you’re happy → no need to reply, styling will begin automatically.

  • If you want anything changed → just reply to the email within the 48‑hour window.

Your styling box has a maximum turnaround time of up to 4 weeks. This 4‑week timeline starts after the 48‑hour portfolio review window closes. Every box is individually curated based on your questionnaire and the images you provide.

Sometimes the thrifting gods aren't kind to us. Your box will not be sent out until it's perfect, if there are any delays with your box, you will be notified immediately. 

2. Item Condition

Your box may include a mix of new and thrifted items. Pre‑loved items range from good to excellent condition. Signs of wear should be expected and part of giving clothes a second life. 

3. Returns & Refunds

If your box isn’t right for you, returns are accepted; however, only 50% of the box cost is refundable. The remaining 50% covers the non‑refundable styling service fee, which includes the time, sourcing, and personalised curation involved.

4. Re‑Listing Items

If certain items don’t suit your style, you are encouraged to re‑list, re‑home, or upcycle them to help reduce waste and support a more sustainable fashion cycle.

5. Non‑Refundable Services

All styling, sourcing, and curation work is considered a service, not a product, and is therefore non‑refundable.

6. No Guaranteed Style Outcome

Styling is subjective. STYLEDBY cannot guarantee that every item will perfectly match your expectations, especially if preferences are unclear or change after purchase. Purchasing this service is putting your trust into your stylist. 

7. Accuracy of Customer Information

You are responsible for providing accurate sizing, preferences, photos, and style information. STYLEDBY is not liable for boxes that do not suit due to incorrect or incomplete details.

9. Photo Usage

Any outfit photos or inspo images you upload are used solely for styling purposes and will not be shared publicly without your permission.

Subscription Cancellation Policy

Your subscription can be cancelled at any time. However, cancellations apply to future billing cycles only.

Once a monthly payment has been processed, the styling work for that month begins immediately, and the styling fee is non‑refundable. This means:

  • If you cancel before your next billing date → you will not be charged again.

  • If you cancel after your payment has been taken → the current month’s styling box will still be created and shipped, and the payment is non‑refundable.

If you wish to skip a month, you must do so before your billing date.

Once your monthly box has been dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible for that cycle. Returns may be made in line with our Returns Policy, but the styling fee and original shipping costs remain non‑refundable.

By subscribing, you agree to these terms.

How Subscription Billing Works

Your subscription is billed once per month on the same date you originally signed up. Each payment covers the full styling process for that month - from reviewing your questionnaire answers and inspo, to sourcing thrifted pieces, to building your personalised box.

Billing Dates

Your card is charged automatically every month on your renewal date. 

What Your Monthly Payment Covers

Each monthly charge includes:

  • A non‑refundable styling fee (for the time spent curating your box)

  • The cost of the thrifted/new items included in your box

  • Packing + handling

  • Your chosen shipping method

Once payment is taken, styling for that month begins immediately.

Skipping a Month

You can skip a month at any time - just make sure you do it before your next billing date. If you skip after payment has already been taken, that month’s box will still be created and shipped.

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel whenever you like. Cancellations apply to future billing cycles only.

If your payment has already been processed for the current month:

  • The styling fee is non‑refundable

  • Your box will still be created and shipped

Failed Payments

If your payment fails, we’ll retry it automatically. If it still doesn’t go through, your subscription will pause until payment is updated.

Shipping

Your box is shipped once styling + sourcing is complete. Delivery times vary depending on your location (see Shipping Policy for details).
